Static Surveillance

Static surveillance is conducted from a static location with good observation of the subject, subject’s residence, subject’s vehicle or any location which is relevant to the task at hand. The static platform can be any location, which offers the best observation arcs but still provides the operative with concealment or at least a chance to blend in with the surrounding environment; it can be covert/overt, rural/urban, on foot, vehicle or building.

Mobile Surveillance

Mobile surveillance is used when the subject is on the move and the need to follow and gather further information as to locations visited and activities of the subject depending on the operation aims are required.
